Iran-India share long-standing friendship, says Ambassador Iraj Elahi

New Delhi, February 11: Iranian Ambassador to India, Iraj Elahi, at the 46th Anniversary of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution (National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran), stated that India and Iran share a long-standing friendship, with the Persian language serving as a key cultural link.

Tokyo, January 28: Indian Ambassador to Japan, Sibi George expressed delight on the visit of Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to Japan and hailed India-Japan ties. In a significant development, he announced that work is being done to have " at least 50,000 Indian professionals to come to Japan in the next few years", he also shared his target of increasing the number of Japanese companies in India from 1500 to 15,000.

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra to resume this summer as India-China mark 75 years of diplomatic ties

New Delhi, January 27: The visit of Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri to China from January 26 to 27 saw several notable developments take place in the India-China ties, with the resumption of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from this summer and an agreement to hold an early meeting of the India-China Expert Level Mechanism to discuss cooperation on trans-border rivers. The two countries decided to resume direct air connectivity, with these leading developments coming ahead of 2025 being the 75th year of the establishment of diplomatic ties between India and China. The Foreign Secretary also called upon the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and the Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China Liu Jianchao, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Monday.

Indonesia to send high-powered defence delegation to India as ties strengthen

New Delhi, January 25: India and Indonesia see "tremendous potential for future development" in the area of defence ties, with the President of Indonesia set to send a high-powered defence delegation to India within the next few weeks, said the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) at a special briefing on the state visit of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
