Rourkela (Odisha), Jan 27: The Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers made a comeback for the ages by scoring two goals in the final five minutes to beat the Delhi SG Pipers in the Men's Hockey India League (HIL) clash here on Monday. By virtue of their stunning come-from-behind win, the Bengal Tigers qualified for the semifinals by amassing 18 points from nine matches.

Rourkela, Jan 20: The Vedanta Kalinga Lancers pulled off a stunning comeback to win a shootout against the Delhi SG Pipers in the ongoing Hockey India League. The Kalinga Lancers were trailing 1-4 at the halfway mark but goals from Alexander Hendrickx (13’, 52’), Thierry Brinkman (35’, 47’) and Angad Bir Singh (49’) saw them make a remarkable comeback and win the subsequent shootout. The SG Pipers, despite strikes from Tomas Domene (18’, 20’), Corey Weyer (21’), Koji Yamasaki (23’) and Dilraj Singh (37’), still await their first win of the season.

So far, JSW Soorma Hockey Club have won both their matches in the league -- a 4-1 win against Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers and a 2-1 victory against Odisha Warriors. Delhi SG Pipers, on the other hand, have lost both their encounters so far.

Ranchi, Jan 14: Kathryn Mullan scored the lone goal as Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Delhi SG Pipers in the Women's Hockey India League (HIL) 2024-25 at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Astro Turf Hockey Stadium here on Tuesday. Kathryn Mullan struck in the 23rd minute for Bengal Tigers, against the run of play, in the second quarter and the Tigers fought tooth and nail to hold on to the one-goal lead for the rest of the game.
