Maha govt to establish separate cell for waste management: Dy CM
Mumbai, July 14: Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday in the state assembly announced that a separate cell will be set up to resolve the problems faced by the municipal corporations and municipalities in the state in waste management.

This initiative, outlined on Monday, is part of the civic body’s broader effort under the Stray Animal Prevention and Control Policy–2023, aimed at addressing the city’s ongoing stray cattle problem, an official said.
