"Rahul Gandhi has taken on a new profession, as a spy agent and a flop professor - Shaina NC"

Mumbai, September 18

Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC on Thursday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the fresh allegations of 'vote theft', calling him a "spy agent" and a "flop professor".

Speaking to ANI, Shiv Sena leader urged Lok Sabha's Leader of Opposition to do some real work and "stop playing theatrics, photo ops and constant drama", as Rahul Gandhi continues to mount charge against the poll body.

"Rahul Gandhi has taken on a new profession, as a spy agent and a flop professor. He sits with this PPT project and keeps on flogging newspapers and papers in his hand as if to suggest the election commission has done something wrong. What is this theory of a hydrogen bomb, I'd like to ask. It is an absolute flop Diwali cracker. You wake up eight months after the election and flog these papers and say the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has done something which is so threatening to our democracy," Shaina NC told ANI.

Shiv Sena leader said that if Rahul Gandhi continues to indulge in such drama, it will only harm the Congress electorally.

"You wake up eight months after the election and flog these papers and say the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has done something which is so threatening to our democracy. In the Lok Sabha elections, when you win particular seats, that seems to be the mandate of the people. Please stop playing theatrics, photo ops and constant drama, do some real work because if you continue to try to be a professor and try to save the democracy with false narratives, the people will never vote you in," Shaina NC said.

Shaina NC said that Rahul Gandhi's "hydrogen bomb" remark has also turned out to be a "flop Diwali cracker".

Earlier in the day, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday slammed the Election Commission of India for allegedly "not cooperating" with the voter fraud investigation opened up by the Karnataka Crime Investigation Department (Karnataka CID) in the Aland assembly segment in the Kalaburagi district.

The leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha has claimed that the investigation into the alleged fraud has been stalled for over 2 years as the poll body is not replying to the letters sent by the CID, calling it "proof" that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is "protecting vote chors (vote thieves).

While I don't agree with the "spy agent" label, Rahul Gandhi should indeed present concrete evidence if he has any. Making sensational claims without proof only damages political discourse.

"Flop Diwali cracker" is such an apt description! 😂 These allegations coming 8 months after elections make no sense. EC has always maintained integrity in our democratic process.

Instead of blaming EC, opposition should focus on ground work and connecting with people. That's how you win elections, not by making PowerPoint presentations! 💯

As an observer, I think both sides need to tone down the rhetoric. Healthy democracy requires constructive criticism, not name-calling from either side.

If there are genuine concerns about election integrity, they should be raised through proper channels with evidence. This public drama helps nobody except media channels getting TRP!
