Speaks all nonsense things: Pralhad Joshi slams Rahul Gandhi's remarks on PM Modi visit to Manipur

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi criticizes Rahul Gandhi's foreign trips without security clearance and questions his silence on Tejashwi Yadav's CM claim.

"I don't want to react because he speaks all nonsense things - Pralhad Joshi"

Dharwad, September 13

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Saturday strongly criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, and said he 'speaks all nonsense things.'

Joshi questioned Gandhi's frequent foreign visits without informing security agencies and accused him of making baseless allegations during his recent visit to Bihar.

Speaking to the reporters, Pralhad Joshi said, "I don't want to react because he speaks all nonsense things. He went to Bihar and made numerous allegations, but nobody bought his ideas. Then he went somewhere outside the country. Now, where he has gone, no one knows. And why he goes so frequently to the foreign, nobody knows. Without informing the security agencies, he is going outside the country. And they expect that very tight security should be given to him, and the government is providing it because he is the Leader of Opposition. But what can be done if you go outside without informing the security agencies..."

He also mocked Gandhi for staying silent when RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav declared himself as the chief ministerial candidate.

"And what is his position in Bihar? In front of him, Tejashwi Yadav declares himself as the chief ministerial candidate, and he keeps mum. He kept watching. What should I react to regarding such a helpless man," Joshi said.

A day earlier, Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Manipur, accusing him of ignoring the "main issue of the nation" which is 'vote Chori'.

The LoP added that the Prime Minister's visit is positive, but citizens across the country had begun using the phrase "Vote Chor" to describe him.

While speaking to mediapersons in Gujarat, the Congress MP reacted to reports of PM Modi's likely visit to Manipur and asserted that the Prime Minister's trip to the violence-hit state was welcome, but insisted that the bigger concern in the country was "electoral malpractice".

"The issue in Manipur has been ongoing for a long time. It is good that he is going there now. But the main issue in the country is that of 'Vote Chori'. The election mandates in Haryana and Maharashtra were stolen...People everywhere are saying 'Vote Chor'," Congress MP said.

But let's be fair - PM Modi should have visited Manipur much earlier. The situation there has been terrible for months. Both sides need to focus on governance rather than political mudslinging.

Rahul Gandhi's "vote chor" comments are just childish. If he has evidence of electoral malpractice, he should present it in court instead of making street-style allegations. This doesn't help democracy.

As an observer, I think both parties are missing the point. The people of Manipur need solutions, not political drama. Hope the PM's visit brings some concrete action plan for peace and rehabilitation.

Joshi is absolutely right! How can Rahul question security arrangements when he himself travels without informing agencies? Leader of Opposition should behave more responsibly.

The way Tejashwi declared himself CM candidate in front of Rahul shows who actually holds power in Bihar alliance. Congress is becoming increasingly irrelevant in state politics. 😅
