This is excellent news for Himachal farmers! 🐄 The increased MSP for milk will really help our rural economy. Hope other Himalayan states like Uttarakhand also follow this model. Just curious - will these milk plants also help process organic milk from mountain cows?

As someone from Kangra district, I'm thrilled about the Dagwar plant! Our farmers have been struggling with milk transportation for years. Finally some concrete steps to boost dairy sector. But government should ensure proper cold chain infrastructure is also developed.

Good initiative but implementation is key. Previous governments also made big announcements but ground reality was different. Hope this time they'll deliver on time. The 2026 deadline seems far - can't it be completed sooner? Milk production can't wait!

Promoting 'Him-Ghee' is a brilliant idea! Our traditional Pahari cow products have unique quality that can compete with best brands. But government must focus on quality control and marketing. Maybe tie up with big retail chains? #SupportLocalDairy

While new plants are welcome, what about existing ones? Many cooperative milk societies in HP are running at loss. First revive them, then expand. Also 17% procurement increase in 3 years is good but can be better with more tech intervention.

Great to see focus on Gau Sadans too! Our indigenous cow breeds need protection. Hope they'll provide veterinary services and breed improvement programs along with shelters. Milk production will automatically increase with healthier livestock. 👏
