The film, which is a gripping drama, is based on a true incident and seems to revolve around Sri Lankan Tamils who come in as refugees to the country.

A teaser of the film that was recently released showed innocent people being rounded up by the police and subjected to third degree treatment inside what appears to be a prison.

Sasikumar's character asks, "Why must we, who have committed no mistake, be kept here?." The teaser also shows Sasikumar saying,"Let us all escape from here." A police officer is seen saying, "We'll file case after case against them and bury them here."

Lijomol appears to play a Lankan Tamil in the film. She is seen confronting a police officer saying, "Sir, do you think this is paradise for you to take us from here to hell? We are already living in hell." Meanwhile, a social activist makes an effort to legally secure the freedom of the imprisoned refugees.

Apart from Sasikumar and Lijomol Jose, the film, which is to hit screens on July 10, will also feature a host of actors including Malavika Avinash, Boss Venkat, Ramesh Kanna, Sudev Nair, Boys Manikandan and others.

Excited for this film! Sasikumar always chooses meaningful subjects. The teaser gave me goosebumps - especially Lijomol's powerful dialogue delivery. Hope it sheds light on the struggles of Sri Lankan Tamils with sensitivity. Releasing just before World Refugee Day too! 🙏

Another film showing police as villains? While I appreciate highlighting refugee issues, why always portray our law enforcement negatively? There are good officers too. Balance is important in storytelling.

Ghibran's music + Sasikumar's intense acting = Blockbuster combo! The teaser's background score was fire 🔥. Hope the film does justice to the complex India-Sri Lanka refugee issue without being preachy.

As someone who grew up near a refugee camp in TN, I'm glad this story is being told. But I hope they show the local community's support too - many Indians opened their hearts to Lankan Tamils during tough times.

The political dialogue in the teaser - "Our politicians love Sri Lankan Tamils" - sounds loaded. Hope the film stays focused on human stories rather than becoming political commentary. Entertainment with purpose is what we need!

Lijomol Jose is such an underrated actress! Her transformation for this role looks incredible. Wishing the whole team success. Hope this does well like 'Jai Bhim' did for tribal rights issues. More power to meaningful cinema! 💪
