Interesting development. As someone working in agri-tech, research exchange in areas like drought-resistant crops could be a game-changer for both countries. Hope this leads to concrete projects and not just talk.

Good to see focus on empowering farmers. But I hope the benefits actually reach the small and marginal farmers in villages, not just the big agri-businesses. Implementation is key. 🤞

Russia's expertise in large-scale farming in difficult climates could be very useful for us. Also, opening new export markets for our fruits, spices, and basmati rice is a win-win. Strong ties with Russia are in our national interest.

The Gita gift to Putin was a beautiful diplomatic gesture. It shows our cultural depth. On the agriculture front, let's hope for tech transfer that reduces input costs for our farmers. That's the real need of the hour.

While the intent is good, we must ensure any collaboration is balanced. We should protect our indigenous seed varieties and farming knowledge. Sustainable growth should mean ecological sustainability first.
