My family is in Ganjam district and they've been moved to a shelter. The administration is doing good work but I'm worried about the wind speeds of 100 kmph. Stay safe everyone!

The coordination between Odisha and Andhra Pradesh governments is crucial. Hope they maintain this cooperation during relief operations too. #CycloneMontha

While the evacuation numbers look impressive, I hope the government ensures proper facilities in shelters - clean water, food, and medical care. Past experiences show this is often lacking.

Odisha has become a model for disaster management in India. From the 1999 super cyclone to now, the improvement is remarkable. Kudos to the state government and NDRF teams! 🇮🇳

Hope the farmers in these districts have secured their crops and livestock. Cyclones can destroy livelihoods for months. Praying for minimal damage to agriculture 🌾
