Santa Fe Magazine Festival Launches in June 2026 - Three Days of Music, Comedy, Art and Conversation

Three-day cultural extravaganza featuring music, comedy, art, and conversations celebrating Santa Fe's creative spirit

"The Santa Fe Magazine Festival will be as maverick and unpredictable as the magazine has become - Owen Lipstein, Founder"

SANTA FE, N.M., Oct. 8

Santa Fe Magazine today announced the inaugural Santa Fe Magazine Festival, a three-day celebration of the city's creative community set for Friday, June 12 through Sunday, June 14, 2026.

The opening night will feature a Wild West Show at the historic Eaves Movie Ranch. What to expect

- Headliner concerts and world-class standup comedy

- In-depth interviews and thought-leader roundtables

- Guided art tours and VIP dinners at unique Santa Fe locations

- Special events tailored for both longtime locals and first-time visitors

A festival born from a magazine

For five years Santa Fe Magazine has chronicled the city's artists, entrepreneurs and cultural leaders. Founder Owen Lipstein says the festival is the live extension of that work -- a chance to meet the people who make Santa Fe distinctive. "The Santa Fe Magazine Festival will be as maverick and unpredictable as the magazine has become," Lipstein said.

Sponsor and mission

The festival's presenting sponsor is MEA, the world's first Midlife Wisdom School. MEA offers science-backed workshops and programs designed to help people in their 40s-70s navigate challenges and thrive in midlife.

Why June?

Organizers chose mid-June because it's a moment when Santa Fe's event calendar is less crowded, offering better access to venues, artists and intimate experiences. Cofounder and creative director John Miller says the festival is curated to deliver an authentic Santa Fe experience for both insiders and visitors.

Interesting concept but the ticket prices will determine if it's worth traveling all the way from India. Hope they offer some early bird discounts for international visitors. The mid-June timing is good though - avoids peak tourist season.

As someone who lived in Santa Fe for 2 years, this festival sounds perfect! The combination of music, comedy and art tours captures the city's essence beautifully. The VIP dinners at unique locations would be worth the splurge.

The MEA sponsorship is interesting - focusing on midlife wisdom. In India we have similar concepts through ashrams and spiritual retreats. Would love to see how they blend Western and Eastern approaches to personal growth.

While the festival sounds wonderful, I hope they consider making some events more accessible virtually. Many international art lovers would appreciate being able to participate remotely, especially given travel costs and visa complexities.

The thought-leader roundtables sound promising! Would be great if they include diverse perspectives from global artists and thinkers. Santa Fe has such rich Native American and Hispanic heritage - hope that's well represented too.
