Ready was such a paisa vasool entertainer! 14 years and still Dhinka Chika plays at every family function. Salman-Asin's chemistry was 🔥. Wish we got more such lighthearted masala films today instead of all these dark thrillers.

The BTS pics are gold! Makes me nostalgic for the era when Bollywood comedies didn't rely on cheap jokes. Paresh Rawal's comic timing was unmatched. Though the plot was silly, the film had so much heart. Anees Bazmee's best work after No Entry.

Honestly, Ready was entertaining but also problematic in how it normalized stalking as romance. We've evolved since 2011 - today such scenes would (rightly) get called out. That said, the music album is still banger after all these years!

Can't believe it's been 14 years! I remember bunking college to watch first day first show with friends. The theater was packed and everyone was dancing in the aisles during Character Dheela. Pure Bollywood magic ✨ Miss Asin so much - she brought such freshness to her roles.

The film worked because it didn't pretend to be anything more than what it was - a full-on entertainer. Today's directors should learn from Bazmee how to balance comedy, action and emotions without getting preachy. Though I wish they'd release the making-of documentary they shot!
