Hyderabad, Nov 4

The unit of director Kishore Tirumala's upcoming film #RT76, featuring Telugu star Ravi Teja in the lead, has now begun filming a song at a specially erected set in Annapurna Studios.

Sources close to the unit say that the team is in the process of shooting a song that will feature hero Ravi Teja and heroine Aashika Ranganath. The number, choreographed by Shekhar Master, is expected to be a sensational dance sequence. Ravi Teja, known for his infectious energy, will be seen sporting a new stylish look in the film.

Sources indicate the film will be a full-fledged family drama combining humour, emotion, and Ravi Teja’s mass elements. Director Kishore Tirumala, known for emotional stories, is shaping the project to appeal to all sections of the audience.

For the unaware, the entertainer, tentatively referred to as #RT76, is being produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner. Insiders say the film is being made stylishly on a big canvas; the unit recently shot a considerable portion of the film in Spain.

The foreign schedule began in Valencia, Spain, with shoots on nearby islands, before the unit moved to Geneva and France for additional sequences. During the 25-day overseas schedule, the team shot crucial talkie portions and two songs choreographed by Sekhar Master — one a peppy dance number and the other a soulful melody.

The film also boasts a top-tier technical crew. Prasad Murella is handling cinematography, while National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad is on board as editor. Music is by noted composer Bheems Ceciroleo, and AS Prakash leads the production design.

Another foreign schedule? Spain, Geneva, France... feels like they're spending more on locations than story. Hope the "family drama" actually has substance and isn't just another routine mass entertainer. Kishore Tirumala usually delivers good emotional content though.

The technical team looks solid! Sreekar Prasad as editor and Bheems for music - that's a winning combination. Ravi Teja with Kishore Tirumala's emotional storytelling could be something special. Hope it lives up to the expectations.

Interesting to see them shooting at Annapurna Studios - such a historic film studio in Hyderabad! The combination of family drama with Ravi Teja's mass appeal sounds promising. Hope Aashika Ranganath gets a good role and not just the typical heroine part.

Shekhar Master's choreography + Ravi Teja's energy = Blockbuster dance number guaranteed! 🔥 The man is 50+ but dances better than heroes half his age. Mass Raja never disappoints when it comes to entertainment.
