While I appreciate the efforts, I hope the government ensures proper maintenance of these facilities. Too often we see new buildings inaugurated with great fanfare, but within a year they're in poor condition. The medical center must have qualified staff and regular equipment upgrades.

As someone who trained at LNCPE years ago, this makes me emotional! The new medical facilities will be such a blessing for current athletes. Recovery is so crucial in sports. Also wonderful to see traditional sports like Kalaripayattu getting recognition alongside modern disciplines.

The felicitation of veteran athletes like Gopinath IPS and Omana Kumari shows we haven't forgotten our sporting legends. Their experience can guide the new generation. More such interactions between young and senior athletes should be organized regularly.

E-Khel Pathshala is a brilliant concept! In a country as vast as India, online training can reach rural talents who otherwise wouldn't get exposure. Hope they expand it to more sports and languages. The 4x400m relay girls making us proud at Asian Athletics - jai hind! 🇮🇳

As a mother of a young athlete, I'm thrilled about these developments. But I hope they also focus on mental health support for sportspersons. The pressure on young athletes is tremendous. Comprehensive care should include psychological support too.
