While I appreciate the sentiments, I wish our politicians would practice what they preach. Gandhi and Shastri were men of action, not just words. We need more implementation of their ideals in actual governance.

Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan! Shastri ji's slogan still gives me goosebumps. In today's times when farmers are struggling and soldiers are protecting borders, we must remember his vision for a self-reliant India.

It's heartening to see our leaders remembering these great souls. But let's not make it just about social media posts. Every Indian should practice cleanliness and truth in their daily lives - that would be the real tribute to Bapu.

As someone living abroad, I'm always inspired by how India honors its founding figures. Gandhi's message of peace and Shastri's simplicity are universal values that the whole world can learn from.

Both these leaders lived what they preached. Gandhi's charkha and Shastri ji returning his official car - these small acts showed their commitment to the nation. Wish today's leaders had that level of integrity.
