This is a much-needed initiative! Kashmir is heaven on earth and we shouldn't let terrorism spoil its beauty. The government must ensure foolproof security for tourists. More police visibility and tourist helplines would help restore confidence. 🇮🇳

While boosting tourism is good, shouldn't we first address why such attacks keep happening? Just throwing money at promotions won't solve the root problem. Need better intelligence and local engagement in J&K.

Great move by PM Modi! Tourism creates jobs and shows the world our soft power. But why focus only on Kashmir? India has so many hidden gems - from Northeast to Lakshadweep. Hope the plan covers all regions equally.

As someone who visited Kashmir last year, I must say the locals are wonderful people who depend on tourism. The attack was tragic but we shouldn't punish them by staying away. Maybe start with promoting group tours with security?

Instead of just meetings, we need action on the ground. Better infrastructure, clean facilities and trained tourist police will go a long way. Also, reduce those ridiculous permit requirements for Indian tourists in our own country!

The timing is perfect with summer vacations coming up! Maybe offer special packages for families? Safety is my main concern though - would love to see a tourist security app with live updates and emergency features.
