Essex police said it was at the scene of a "serious incident", BBC reported.

Tragic incident. But why aren't they revealing passenger details yet? Transparency is crucial in such situations. Families must be going through hell not knowing.

As an aviation enthusiast, I'm curious about the aircraft model involved. Beechcraft B200 has a decent safety record generally. Weather conditions should be investigated too.

Heartbreaking news. My cousin works at Southend airport. She says small aircraft incidents are rare but devastating when they happen. Hope lessons are learned from this tragedy.
