People like Rahul Gandhi only know how to abuse: Giriraj Singh praises RSS on 100th anniversary

Union Minister Giriraj Singh praises RSS's 100 years of service while attacking Rahul Gandhi for "only knowing how to abuse" during centenary celebrations.

"People like Rahul Gandhi only know how to abuse. Even if he gets seven lifetimes, he still won't be able to become a Sangh volunteer. - Giriraj Singh"

Begusarai, October 2

Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Thursday praised the role of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.

On the occasion, Singh extended his greetings to the nation on the completion of 100 years of the RSS, appreciating the organisation's selfless service and commitment to India's growth. He highlighted the RSS's role in various national crises, including the 1971 India-Pakistan war, floods, droughts, and other calamities, saying that Sangh volunteers have always been at the forefront of service.

Praising the RSS for its contributions to nation-building, Singh said, "The RSS is the only organisation in the world that engages in constructive work and promotes culture. And whenever the country has faced disasters or crises, the Sangh's volunteers have always been at the forefront of service. From the 1971 India-Pakistan war to floods, droughts, and other calamities, Sangh volunteers have rendered selfless service.

Targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Singh said, "People like Rahul Gandhi only know how to abuse. Even if he gets seven lifetimes, he still won't be able to become a Sangh volunteer. A Sangh volunteer is not among those who insult India, but among those who work for India's dignity and honour."

Taking a swipe at Congress, Singh added, "When a party is led by someone like Rahul Gandhi who behaves like an urban Naxal, it's natural that other leaders of the Congress will also speak the same language."

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) marked the festival of Vijaya Dashami with a celebration in Nagpur, also commemorating the organisation's 100th anniversary. RSS members gathered to recite the Sangh Prarthana, accompanied by dignitaries including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. Former President Ram Nath Kovind attended the event as the chief guest. Many Indian and foreign dignitaries attended the centenary celebrations of the RSS.

Founded in 1925 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, by Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the RSS was established as a volunteer-based organisation with the goal of fostering cultural awareness, discipline, service, and social responsibility among citizens.

I respect RSS's service during disasters, but why bring Rahul Gandhi into every conversation? Can't we appreciate good work without political mudslinging? 🤔

My grandfather was an RSS volunteer and I've seen firsthand how they help during floods in our village. They're always first to reach remote areas with relief. Salute to their dedication! 🙏

As someone who has lived in India for 5 years, I've noticed RSS's community work is quite impressive. Their disaster response during the Kerala floods was remarkable.

Both sides need to focus on development rather than personal attacks. RSS has done good work, but calling political opponents "urban Naxals" doesn't help national unity.
