While industrial growth is welcome, I hope environmental safeguards are in place. Kalinganagar is ecologically sensitive - we don't want another Singur situation. Development and ecology must go hand in hand.

As someone from Jajpur, this gives me hope! For too long our youth had to migrate to other states for work. Now industries are coming to us. CM Majhi seems to be delivering on his promises - 1.15 lakh crore in 113 days is no small feat!

The solar energy projects are particularly exciting! 👏 Odisha has great potential for renewable energy. Hope they allocate some funds for local infrastructure too - better roads, schools and hospitals should accompany industrial growth.

Good to see steel sector getting boost. But government should monitor if promised jobs actually reach locals. Often we see outsiders getting preference in such projects. Local employment guarantee needed!

The food processing plant is a smart move - will help farmers get better prices. Odisha's agricultural produce deserves more value addition. Hope they include women's self-help groups in the supply chain too.
