Happy New Year to our Kiwi friends! 🇳🇿 While the display is beautiful, I can't help but think of the cost and environmental impact of such fireworks. In India, many cities are moving towards laser shows. Maybe a more sustainable celebration is the way forward for everyone.

New Zealand is one of the first major countries to welcome the New Year after the Pacific islands. Their timezone advantage is cool! In India, we have to wait almost half a day. But hey, more time to prepare the party snacks! 😄

Spectacular show! Reminds me of the Diwali lights in India, just on a massive, coordinated scale. Our celebrations are more decentralized but equally vibrant. Different cultures, same spirit of joy.
