This is why we need stronger labor laws and better implementation. Contractors often cut corners on safety to save costs. Glad to see the police have filed FIR against the contractors under BNS. Hope they face strict punishment if found negligent.

Respect to the ministers who visited the hospital and paid respects to the deceased workers. At least the government is taking responsibility and providing compensation. But we need to ensure such accidents don't happen again. Safety first should be the motto at every construction site.

While I appreciate the government's response, I'm concerned that such incidents keep happening across India. The safety review should be conducted by independent experts, not just government officials. We need better accountability systems in place.

These migrant workers from Assam are the backbone of our construction industry. They leave their families behind to build our infrastructure. The least we can do is ensure their safety. Hope the injured worker recovers soon and gets proper compensation too.

My heart goes out to the families in Assam who lost their breadwinners. The embalming and transportation arrangements are good, but the real test will be whether the families receive the compensation without delays and bureaucratic hurdles. 🙏
