As someone who follows sports science, the facilities mentioned—biomechanics, physiology, nutrition—are exactly what we need. The shift from just participation to podium focus is crucial. Well done SAI and the Ministry.

Great initiative, but I hope the focus remains on athletes from all sports, not just cricket or a few popular ones. The ₹75 crore investment must translate into medals for disciplines like athletics, wrestling, and badminton. Fingers crossed!

While the investment is impressive, execution and maintenance are key. We've seen projects announced with fanfare that later struggle. Hope there's a clear plan for staffing it with top sports scientists and keeping it running optimally.
