It's heartwarming to see such tributes from across the political spectrum. Captain sir's legacy of helping the poor is something every politician should learn from. We need more leaders like him.

While the tributes are nice, I wish our current leaders would focus more on action than words. Captain was known for his work, not just social media posts. The real tribute would be to continue his work for the underprivileged.

My father was a huge fan of his movies and later his politics. He always said Captain was a man of his word. Gone too soon. His absence is felt in TN politics.

Remember watching his films with my family. The energy he brought to the screen was unmatched. It's rare to see an actor-politician who maintained dignity in both fields. Salute to the Captain! 🫡

As someone who has followed Indian cinema, Vijayakanth's contribution is significant. It's interesting to see how actor-politicians play such a unique role in Tamil Nadu's political landscape compared to other states.
