The newly released track “Kali Shakti” pays a powerful tribute to the fierce feminine energy of Goddess Kali. The song channels divine strength to deliver a stirring message of courage, justice, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil.

Kajol takes center stage with an intense and emotionally charged dance performance that anchors the track. Drenched in sindoor and driven by raw emotion, her movements embody the unstoppable force of Maa Kali — a mother’s rage, strength, and unwavering will to protect her child.

With this devotional track, singer Usha Uthup made her grand return to cinema. The song is composed by Harsh Upadhyay, with impactful lyrics penned by Pranav Vatsa. Directed by Vishal Furia, the upcoming horror drama also features Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati, Gopal Singh, Surjyasikha Das, Yaaneea Bharadwaj, Roopkatha Chakraborty, and Kherin Sharma in prominent roles.

The film is slated to hit theatres on June 27, 2025.

While the visuals are powerful, I wish they'd cast a darker-skinned actress for Kali's role. Our goddess is often depicted as dark complexioned, and representation matters. Still, Kajol's acting is top-notch as always.

The blend of traditional and modern elements in this song is brilliant! The music gives me chills. So proud to see our mythology being presented with such grandeur. Ajay Devgn's productions never disappoint when it comes to quality.

Usha Uthup's voice at 75 is still more powerful than most singers half her age! The lyrics are so meaningful - "Rakshak Bhakshak" perfectly captures Kali's dual nature. Hope the full movie lives up to this song's standard.

As someone who grew up with Kali puja in Bengal, this representation makes me emotional. The sindoor, the fierce expressions - Kajol nailed it! Though I hope they show proper research into tantric traditions in the full film.

Interesting to see Bollywood exploring horror-mythology fusion. The VFX looks promising from the trailer. Hope they don't westernize Kali's character too much though - our goddesses don't need Hollywood-style makeovers!
