While the focus on new technologies is welcome, I hope our government ensures proper technology transfer and not just imports. We need to build domestic capabilities, not just depend on foreign partnerships.

Good to see our ministers working hard on international relations. But I wish they would also focus more on improving basic infrastructure and education in rural areas alongside these high-tech deals.

The defense cooperation part is interesting. Netherlands has good naval technology which could help modernize our coastal security, especially given our strategic location in the Indian Ocean region.

As an IT professional, I'm excited about the AI collaboration! Hope this means more opportunities for Indian techies and startups to work with European partners. The diaspora connections could be very valuable too.
