Israeli-Indian tech trio launches real-time surveillance platform across India

Sparsh CCTV, Innoviz, and Cron AI partner to deploy AI-powered real-time monitoring for India's critical infrastructure and transport systems.

"This integrated solution fuses LiDAR, video, and AI for real-time monitoring of critical infrastructure. – Innoviz Technologies"

Tel Aviv, July 16

India's Sparsh CCTV, Israel's Innoviz Technologies, and UK-based but Israel-linked Cron AI have partnered to deploy edge-native security and intelligent transport systems across India. The integrated solution fuses LiDAR, video, and AI for real-time monitoring of critical infrastructure, including railways, perimeters, and urban intersections.

Sparsh, a major Indian surveillance provider, will lead local implementation. Innoviz brings its high-performance automotive-grade LiDAR, while Cron AI contributes deep-learning 3D perception technology.

The platform is tailored for India's complex outdoor environments and supports local manufacturing and scale-up.

Deployment is expected to begin soon as part of a nationwide infrastructure upgrade.

As someone working in tech, I'm excited about the LiDAR integration! But I worry about maintenance - our extreme weather conditions can be tough on sensitive equipment. Hope they've accounted for monsoon rains and dust storms in the design.

Good initiative but why always foreign collaborations? We have brilliant engineers in India who could develop similar tech if given proper funding and support. Make in India should mean more than just assembly.

The railway surveillance part is most needed! After so many accidents, finally some high-tech solution. But will it actually prevent mishaps or just record them? Need proper monitoring staff too.

Working in Bengaluru traffic police, we desperately need this at intersections. Current cameras can't handle our chaotic traffic patterns. Hope the AI can understand Indian driving habits 😅

Privacy concerns aside, this could be game-changing for women's safety if implemented properly. But will it reach smaller towns or just metro cities? Safety shouldn't be limited to urban areas.
