Great news about the Wi-Fi, but the speed and reliability are key. At my local station, the connection often drops. Hope the 'prompt action' mentioned is real and not just on paper. Also, more CCTVs are very welcome for women's safety.

"No separate funds sanctioned" is interesting. Does this mean the cost is being absorbed from existing budgets? Transparency in how such large projects are funded would be appreciated. Still, a useful service for the common man.

As a frequent traveler, this is very promising. The OTP login is simple. Combining this with the CCTV rollout shows a good focus on both connectivity and security. Hope they expand coverage to more coaches and smaller stations soon.

Bahut badhiya! This is real digital India in action. My parents were able to video call me from their station wait thanks to this Wi-Fi. Small things that make a big difference. Now just need to ensure it's maintained properly.

A respectful criticism: The article highlights New Delhi station having 250 CCTVs. That's good, but what about the thousands of other stations? 1731 stations covered is a start, but the pace needs to increase. Safety should be uniform across the network.
