Amazing work under fire. But a respectful question: while we rightly celebrate this, I hope our government is also investing adequately in our own public health infrastructure here at home. Our doctors and nurses perform miracles with limited resources daily.

As someone who has worked in humanitarian aid, what the Indian hospital achieved in Goma is textbook excellence in crisis medicine. Managing trauma casualties AND infectious disease outbreaks simultaneously in a conflict zone is incredibly difficult. World-class.

This is the soft power that truly matters. Not just speeches, but actual, on-ground service that saves lives and builds trust. India's commitment to UN peacekeeping is a legacy we should all be aware of and proud of. More such stories should be in our school textbooks!
