While I appreciate the military preparedness, I hope there's equal emphasis on diplomatic solutions. Constant military buildup on borders creates tension. Peace should be the ultimate goal.

Eastern Air Command has been doing phenomenal work, especially in the mountainous terrain. The pilots deserve our respect and the best equipment. Government should ensure they get modern aircraft and systems.

As someone who has visited Shillong, I can imagine how challenging the terrain must be for air operations. The men and women serving in these remote areas deserve our gratitude and support.
