While I'm happy about the tournament, I hope the government ensures proper maintenance of facilities post-event. Many stadiums become white elephants after such tournaments. Need long-term planning.

As a Chennai resident, I'm excited but concerned about traffic management during the event. The government should plan proper shuttle services and parking. Otherwise, it's a proud moment for TN!

Hope they maintain the same enthusiasm for local hockey tournaments too. Our district-level players often struggle for basic facilities. International events are good, but grassroots development is crucial.

Wonderful initiative! Hockey runs in our blood but gets less attention than cricket. Such events will help revive our national game's glory. Special thanks to the TN government for stepping up! 🙌
