While I appreciate the effort to preserve culture, Rs. 217 crore is a massive amount. I hope the focus remains on spiritual and cultural preservation, and not just on creating a tourism spectacle. The funds could also have been used for improving local infrastructure and schools in Nagaon.

As someone from Assam, I'm filled with pride. The project details sound amazing - a theatre like a japi, guest houses with Sattriya art! This will put Assam on the global spiritual tourism map. Can't wait to visit with my family after the inauguration. Job well done!

Reading about this from abroad. It's fascinating to see such investment in cultural heritage. The blend of traditional design with modern facilities is a smart approach. Hope it boosts responsible tourism and provides economic opportunities for the local community.

The fact that the land was freed from encroachment as part of the project is a significant achievement in itself. Sankardeva's message of egalitarianism should be the true highlight, not just the architectural marvels. Let's hope the management maintains the sanctity of the place.

Good step for cultural promotion. But the timing and political fanfare around the inauguration are hard to ignore. Development of heritage sites should be a continuous, non-partisan effort, not an event for photo-ops. The project's long-term maintenance will be the real test.
