The combination of Padma Shri Vijay Sharma's artwork and Kalidasa's poetry must make this a beautiful publication. Chamba miniature art is so exquisite - perfect for Meghadootam's romantic imagery!

As someone studying Indian literature, I appreciate efforts to make classical works more accessible. However, I hope the translation maintains the original's poetic essence and doesn't oversimplify Kalidasa's complex imagery.

Himachal seems to be becoming a literary hub! Two book releases in two days at Raj Bhavan. Governor Shukla's support for regional literature is commendable. More states should promote their local literary talent like this.
