Good that CM Stalin announced compensation and formed an inquiry commission. But no amount of money can bring back those precious lives. We need accountability and proper safety measures for future events.

My heart goes out to all the families affected. 36 lives lost is just too much. While Vijay's condolences are appreciated, organizers must take responsibility for crowd control. This was completely preventable.

The fact that 8 children were among the victims makes this even more tragic. As someone who has attended political rallies in India, I've always felt the crowd management needs serious improvement. Prayers for all affected families 🙏

While the compensation and inquiry are necessary steps, what we really need is systemic change. Stampedes keep happening at Indian events - from religious gatherings to political rallies. Time for strict enforcement of safety norms.

Vijay's words sound heartfelt, but actions speak louder than words. Hope he takes concrete steps to ensure such tragedies never happen again. The families deserve justice and proper support during this difficult time.
