While I appreciate the government's quick response, I hope the relief package is substantial enough to cover actual losses. Farmers have invested so much in their crops and this unexpected weather has been devastating for them.

My uncle in Kutch lost his entire cotton crop. The timing couldn't have been worse - just before harvest. Good to see ministers visiting affected areas personally. Hope the assessment is fair and transparent. 🌧️

Climate change is real and affecting our agriculture patterns. While relief packages are necessary, we also need long-term solutions like crop insurance and better weather forecasting systems.

The government should ensure that the relief reaches small and marginal farmers first. They are the most vulnerable and often get overlooked in such situations. Jai Kisan! 👨‍🌾
