While development is good, I hope they maintain the historical authenticity of Vadnagar. The charm of ancient stepwells and lakes shouldn't be lost in modernization. Also, 17 crore seems like a lot - hope there's proper transparency in spending.

Finally some focus on Gujarat's hidden gems! Been to Vadnagar last year - beautiful place but lacked proper facilities. The 2000 trees plantation is a thoughtful touch. Hope they maintain them properly unlike other projects where plants die after 6 months.

As a foreign tourist who visited Vadnagar, I'm excited about these developments! The heritage circuit sounds wonderful. Just one suggestion - please ensure proper multilingual signage and guides for international visitors. It will boost tourism significantly.

Good initiative but hope they don't neglect basic amenities like clean toilets and drinking water. Many heritage sites in India have fancy infrastructure but fail in basic hygiene. Also, what about local employment opportunities from this project?

My hometown getting this much attention! 😍 The Sharmishtha Lake development is much needed. But please involve local historians in the restoration work - we don't want modern contractors altering our heritage without proper knowledge.
