I participated in the 5km run with my family! The energy was amazing and it felt so good to be part of this tribute to a real hero. More such events should be organized across India to honour our Param Vir Chakra awardees. 🙏

While I appreciate the sentiment, I wish there was more coverage of such events in mainstream media. Our heroes deserve more recognition beyond just regional news. Also, hope the organizers provided proper hydration and medical facilities for all participants.

Jai Hind! 🇮🇳 Flying Officer Sekhon's story of bravery during the 1971 war should be taught in every school. Events like this marathon keep his legacy alive. Great to see the IAF taking such initiatives to connect with civilians.
