"We have all unanimously given the entire responsibility to our National President Chirag Paswan to take the final call - Raju Tiwari"

Patna, October 9

The NDA alliance in Bihar is working towards sealing its seat sharing deal with principal constituents JDU, BJP, LJP (RV) and HAM bargaining hard for their share. Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Bihar chief Raju Tiwari on Thursday said that the party has entrusted full authority to its National President, Chirag Paswan, to take the final call on the matter.

Speaking to reporters after a key party meeting in Patna, Tiwari said, "All senior leaders of our party were present in today's meeting. We have all unanimously given the entire responsibility to our National President Chirag Paswan to take the final call, and it will be acceptable to each and every member of the party."

Earlier today, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief and Union Minister Chirag Paswan said that discussions are underway regarding the seat-sharing formula within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled to be held in two phases next month.

Chirag Paswan told reporters, "Discussions are going on. I have other responsibilities too. As long as I am a Minister, I have the responsibility of the ministry too. I am going for that right now."

LJP (RV) has convened an emergency party meeting at its Patna office on Thursday to discuss the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections and organisational matters.

The NDA led by the BJP and JD(U) will be up against the INDIA bloc, led by Tejashwi Yadav of the RJD, the Congress, the CPI (ML) led by Deepankar Bhattacharya, the CPI, the CPM, and Mukesh Sahani's Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP). The new entrant, Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj, has also staked claims on all 243 seats of the state.

The Election Commission has announced the schedule for the Bihar Assembly elections. The 243 Assembly seats will go to the polls in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with the counting of votes scheduled to take place on November 14.

Seat sharing drama every election! Parties spend more time bargaining than actually working for development. Bihar needs stable government, not political games.

As an observer, it's interesting how Chirag is balancing his ministerial responsibilities with party work. The NDA alliance seems well-coordinated compared to the opposition INDIA bloc.

LJP has strong support among Paswan community. Chirag ji should ensure party gets seats where we have traditional stronghold. Don't compromise too much in alliance talks.

While I appreciate party discipline, I hope this isn't just rubber-stamping decisions. Internal democracy is important even in political parties. Just saying "unanimous" doesn't mean everyone actually agrees.

With Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj claiming all 243 seats, the contest is getting interesting! But realistically, only established parties have ground presence. Newcomers need to prove themselves first.
