The third day of Diwali is the main day of the celebrations. People worship Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi on this day, offering prayers to bless them with wealth and prosperity.

The fourth day of Diwali is devoted to Govardhan Puja. The fifth day is called Bhai Dooj. On this day, sisters pray for their brothers to have long and happy lives by performing the Tika ceremony, and brothers give gifts to their sisters.

I completely agree with the emphasis on Swadeshi products. This Diwali, our family decided to buy only Indian-made diyas, sweets, and gifts. Supporting local artisans feels so meaningful! 🇮🇳

As someone living abroad, Diwali messages like these make me so nostalgic. The description of the five-day festival traditions brought back childhood memories. Missing home during this festive season!

While I appreciate the festive greetings, I wish politicians would focus more on practical issues like pollution control during Diwali. The firecracker ban implementation has been inconsistent across states.

The spiritual significance of Diwali often gets lost in the commercial celebrations. Glad to see leaders reminding us about the deeper meaning - victory of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. 🙏
