The actress who is a pet parent, is extremely close to her canine babies. On account of International Dogs Day today, Divya posted a video reel on her social media account. Bas pyaar chahiye..can we get it back pls?? As a society can we say we are proud of how we are with the coinhabitants of this earth?? Dil se request, aap bhale inhe pyaar karte hain ya nahin, i respect that, compassion to dikha hi sakte hain? While I appreciate her sentiment, the reality is more complex. Stray dogs can be dangerous in some areas, especially at night. We need proper sterilization programs and shelters rather than just emotional appeals. The government should take more responsibility.

She's so right! In my Mumbai society, we've adopted 3 street dogs collectively. They guard our building better than any security guard. It's about coexistence, not elimination. 🙏

As an expat living in Delhi, I've noticed Indians have a beautiful relationship with street animals. Back home, we'd just call animal control. Here, people actually care for them. More countries should learn from this approach.

My housing society recently banned feeding strays and it breaks my heart. These dogs have lived here for generations. We need more awareness programs and community initiatives for proper care and vaccination.
