This is a positive step for inclusivity in sports administration. However, I hope the selection process is completely transparent and merit-based. Sometimes these government sports branch appointments can be influenced by internal politics. Fingers crossed for a fair trial!
Bharat Nagar ground at 8:30 AM in this December chill? Bhai players will need some serious dedication! But seriously, good to see a mix of DDCA and Sports Branch coaches on the panel. Should balance technical skill and fitness standards.
As someone who follows civil services sports, it's encouraging to see qualified selectors being appointed formally. The All India Tournament is quite competitive between states. Hope Delhi puts up a strong team this year!
Dev Dutt's achievement with the Deaf Cricket Team was inspirational. Winning in Sharjah is no small feat. That kind of winning mentality is exactly what our civil services team needs. Best of luck to all the aspirants reporting for trials!
The article says "submit the list immediately after trials." Hope they take proper time to evaluate and don't rush the decision. Player selection can make or break a team's chances in the tournament. Jai Hind!
