The ex-gratia amount is good but no money can bring back lost lives. The government must implement better crowd control measures at all major pilgrimage sites. Haridwar sees lakhs of devotees every year - why aren't we prepared??

While I appreciate President Murmu's quick response, I wish our leaders would take preventive actions before such tragedies occur rather than just offering condolences after. This is not the first time this has happened at religious sites.

My family was planning to visit Mansa Devi next month. Now we're reconsidering. The government must ensure safety of devotees - this is basic governance. Prayers for the departed souls 🙏

Kejriwal is right about accountability. But all parties are equally responsible - this isn't about politics. We need permanent solutions like digital queue systems, better pathways, and trained personnel at these crowded places.

As someone from Uttarakhand, I'm ashamed this keeps happening in our state. Tourism is important but not at the cost of lives. The CM must take strict action against officials responsible for poor arrangements.
