While I appreciate the recognition, I hope such honors translate to more NCC opportunities in Northeast colleges. Many students here are eager to join but lack proper infrastructure. The government should focus on expanding NCC reach.

Great achievement for Northeast representation! But I wonder - do other regions get more such honors compared to Northeast? We need equal recognition across all states to truly feel united as one India.

The NCC shaped my brother into a responsible adult. Seeing academic leaders like Prof. Deka getting involved gives me hope for our education system. Maybe now more colleges will take NCC seriously instead of treating it as just another certificate program.

Heartwarming to see our academicians getting military honors! This bridges the gap between education and defense - both crucial for nation building. Hope Prof. Deka's example inspires more VCs to support NCC activities nationwide.
