As someone whose brother serves in Siachen, this news gives me so much relief. High-altitude postings are brutal on our soldiers' health. The medical team and IAF pilots deserve all the praise for this coordinated effort. Hope the soldier recovers soon!

While this is great news, we need more such specialized hospitals near border areas. Airlifting patients is risky and time-consuming. The government should invest in better medical infrastructure in Ladakh and other high-altitude regions.

The An-32 pilots are the unsung heroes here! Flying in those mountainous regions requires incredible skill. The entire team - from ground staff to doctors - worked like a well-oiled machine. This is why we should be proud of our defense forces.

Pulmonary thromboembolism is deadly at sea level, let alone at Kargil's altitude! The medical team's quick thinking saved a life today. We often forget the health risks our soldiers face beyond combat. More awareness needed about high-altitude illnesses.

This story brought tears to my eyes. While we sleep comfortably in our homes, these bravehearts are guarding our borders in extreme conditions. The least we can do is ensure they get the best medical care. Kudos to the entire team! 🙏
