Good proactive steps by CM Yogi ji. Farmers in UP have suffered enough from unseasonal rains and hailstorms. Hope the relief reaches actual beneficiaries this time without middlemen taking cuts. 🙏

These weather warnings are getting more frequent year after year. Climate change is real! While relief measures are important, we need long-term solutions like better drainage systems and crop insurance schemes.

Instructions are good but implementation matters most. Last year my village in Bareilly waited 3 months for hailstorm relief funds. Hope this time officers actually visit affected areas as directed.

Appreciate the focus on livestock too! For small farmers, losing even one cow/buffalo can be devastating. Hope veterinary services are also alerted to handle injured animals. 🐄

Why only react after damage occurs? IMD gives advance warnings - authorities should use this time to prepare shelters, emergency teams and inform villagers through SMS alerts. Prevention > cure!

Good to see comprehensive instructions covering medical care, drainage AND crop assessment. But what about urban areas? Last year's waterlogging in Noida was horrible - hope they're preparing pumps and cleaning drains there too.
