Why is India getting involved in Southeast Asian border disputes? We have enough of our own issues with neighbors. Should focus on strengthening our borders first!

As someone with family in Thailand, I really appreciate the quick response from our embassies. The WhatsApp helpline is a smart move - most Indians abroad use it regularly.

The colonial borders issue sounds familiar... reminds me of our own problems. Hope Thailand and Cambodia can resolve this through dialogue rather than violence. India should offer mediation if asked.

While the advisory is good, I wish our embassies would send SMS alerts too. Not everyone checks Twitter/X regularly. Better safe than sorry when lives are at stake!
