Bangladeshi infiltrators were given free rein to spread anarchy throughout Bihar: UP CM Yogi

UP CM Yogi Adityanath accuses Mahagathbandhan of allowing Bangladeshi infiltrators to create anarchy in Bihar, calls opposition leaders "three monkeys"

"Bangladeshi infiltrators were given free rein to spread anarchy throughout Bihar by raising caste armies - Yogi Adityanath"

Digha, November 3

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Mahagathbandhan, alleging that Bangladeshi infiltrators were given a free hand to spread anarchy in Bihar during the rule of earlier governments.

Addressing a public meeting at Digha, CM Yogi said the same forces that once divided society along caste lines and pitted "Hindu against Hindu" have now come together again under the banner of the Mahagathbandhan.

"The people who have created an identity crisis for Bihar are the same who have come together today in the form of Mahagathbandhan. Bangladeshi infiltrators were given free rein to spread anarchy throughout Bihar by raising caste armies and pitting Hindu against Hindu. This trend that began in Bihar between 1992 and 2005 created an identity crisis for Bihar," he said.

Earlier in the day, during a public meeting at Muzaffarpur, CM Yogi slammed the "unholy alliance" between the RJD and Congress, accusing them of having shattered Bihar's identity during their tenure in power.

"The question of which official would carry the then-Chief Minister's spittoon had become Bihar's identity. The DGP was called 'Munshi' and the Chief Secretary 'Babu'. The unholy alliance between the RJD and Congress shattered Bihar's identity," Adityanath said

"When someone advocating for Bihar's development would suggest building a road, people would say, 'Don't build a road, otherwise the police might get the means to arrive here to stop your misdeeds.' These hereditary looters gave birth to the hereditary mafia, and these people want to repeat the same thing now," he added.

Meanwhile, during a public meeting at Keoti, Bihar, Adityanath took a sharp jibe at the Mahagathbandhan alliance, saying that they have called in "three monkeys" to campaign for the alliance.

Taking a hit at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, the BJP leader said just like the three monkeys "speak no evil, hear no evil, see no evil", these leaders too are blind, deaf, and mute to the truth of the development which has taken place in Bihar.

"Just as Gandhiji had three monkeys, today the INDIA alliance brought in three monkeys in the name of Pappu, Tappu and Appu (Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, and Akhilesh Yadav). Pappu cannot speak the truth or say anything good. Tappu cannot see any truth, and Appu cannot hear the truth," Yogi Adityanath said.

Alleging the Mahagathbandhan to be colluding with the mafia in the state, Adityanath added, "These people cannot see the development done by the NDA people. These three people hug and mingle with the family mafias, and disrupt the security of the state."

The Bihar assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11. The results will be declared on November 14.

While border security is important, I wish politicians would focus more on development issues rather than divisive rhetoric. Bihar needs jobs and infrastructure, not just political mudslinging.

As someone from Bihar, I remember the lawlessness during those years. Caste armies and mafia rule made life miserable for common people. Hope we never go back to that era. 🙏

The "three monkeys" analogy is quite creative but maybe a bit harsh. Still, it's true that opposition leaders often ignore development work happening in states.

Yogi ji always speaks with conviction! The comparison between past and present Bihar is eye-opening. Security and development should go hand in hand.

Illegal immigration is a serious concern for national security. Hope the government takes concrete steps to address this issue rather than just using it as election rhetoric.
