CORK, Ireland: We all feel lost sometimes. This considered, it seems like having an instruction manual on how to be a human being has been necessitated.
'Social Dynamics - A Human Instruction Manual' is a recognition of the incoherence that pervades much of the human world. As human beings attempting to live our lives, it is our duty - surely - to order the chaos of circumstance. This book playfully lays foundations for those on unstable ground, lights the way for those lost in the dark, and paves new paths for those without a notion of what road to travel. An analysis of the human world from a human perspective, this book has been created in order to help bring greater coherence to the species at large; giving those looking an instruction manual on how to be human.
C. B. Ahern is a writer, philosopher, and poet. He has pieced together this human instruction manual after being a lost soul for many years, eventually finding out how to make life work. The author, over the course of his life, struggled with obesity, social anxiety, self-image issues, depression, drug addiction. And, having overcome them all, he feels as though he has gained useful insight into the human condition. Insight he wishes to share.
The content of the book was created with the aim of helping others cohere a reasonable understanding of themselves, and the reality they find themselves in. Some of the issues addressed are:
•What does it mean to be a 'Human Being'?
•How does somebody learn how to think coherently?
•How do we go about creating ourselves?
•How can one effectively interpret, or execute, communications, and subcommunications?
•How do we come to grips with our understanding, or lack thereof, of other people?
•How can we understand abstract notions like 'Love', and how does one go about the matter of creating, or finding Love?
•How do we deal with difficulty in life generally, or even... difficult people?
•How do we know when people are lying, or being disingenuous?
