BLOOMING PRAIRIE, Minn: When the Minimizer Bandit Big Rig Series returns to Florence Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 7th, fans can expect some bumping, rubbing and hard-nosed racing.
Florence saw plenty of that back in May, when North Carolina native Ricky Rude (#14) stole the checkered flag in the evening's feature race."Ricky has been on a tear since the very first race of the season," Bandit Director of Operations Brian Madsen said. "He's leading the pack, but several guys are right behind him in the standings. The event at Florence is going to be action packed and we can't wait!"
The event at Florence Motor Speedway is in the middle of the busiest stretch of the season - four races in six weeks to close out the 2017 schedule.
"The championship is on the line, not to mention a lot of cash ... over $100,000!" Madsen said.
A $50,000 purse is up for grabs at every single Bandit event, and only the fastest Bandit steals the $10,000 feature race check.
The final three races will be packed with action as the Bandits battle it out to climb to the top of the point standings.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. October 7th and the racing action starts at 7:30 p.m.
Fans can skip the line at Florence Motor Speedway and order tickets online at www.ticketfly.com.
