New Delhi , August 20 : The Commissioner of Railway Safety will on Monday conduct an inspection of the Utkal train derailment site.
According to a press release by the Northern Railways, the Railway Safety Commissioner will go for inspection of the accident site on August 21, and will further hold a "statutory inquiry" into the accident in terms of Section 114 of the Indian Railways Act, 1989.

The Northern Railways further stated, "The general public is invited to tender evidence at the inquiry and also send information relating to the accident to the Commissioner of Railway Safety."

The supposed inquiry is to take place at Divisional Railway Manager's office, in Delhi.

The tragic accident, which happened on Saturday, killed 20 people and injured more than 200 people.
