Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan condole Telugu filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao's demise
New Delhi , May 30 : The film fraternity including Tamil actor Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan on Tuesday condoled the passing away of veteran Telugu filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao, while saying that his demise is a huge loss to the Indian film industry.
Kamal Haasan also expressed his heartfelt condolence over Rao's death and said that the latter's demise is a 'big loss for Telugu cinema.'
"My sympathy and condolences to the family of Daasari Naryana Rao. His loss is truly a big loss for Telugu cinema. Late K.B. sir admired him," Haasan said in a tweet.
Rao passed away on Tuesday at the age of 75. He was admitted in Hyderabad's KIMS Hospital.
The director, who has given some of the best films that Telugu industry has seen, had been unwell for quite some time.
Rao holds the Guinness Book of Records for directing 125 films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
The National Award-winning director had produced 50 other films.
