Jimmy Kimmel returning to host next year's Oscars
New Delhi , May 17 : He hosted one of the craziest Oscar ceremonies of all time and now, Jimmy Kimmel is coming back to the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles for more.
The 49-year-old comedian and chat show host later tweeted about his return, writing, "Thanks to @TheAcademy for asking me to host The #Oscars again (assuming I opened the right envelope)."
The 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' host was referring to this year's infamous envelope mix-up, wherein 'La La Land' was mistakenly announced as best picture winner instead of 'Moonlight.'
On a related note, no-one has hosted the Oscars in back-to-back years since Billy Crystal in 1997-98.
The 90th Academy Awards will air live on ABC Sunday, March 4, 2018.
